True obedience is the foundation for all successful and happy relationships with dogs

Discover your dog’s desire and potential to please

Through our obedience program, you and your dog will learn the fundamentals of "Sit", "Down", "Come", "Stay", “Leave It”, and “No” with considerations given to relative learning and teaching strengths. Unlike other training methods, our system of obedience does not end with food treats. Dogs and owners who complete our obedience course finish with a relationship of true verbal compliance- in other words, a dog who will perform the fundamental commands without any reliance on a food reward.

You will learn to relate to your dog through effective, psychologically-targeted training techniques that tap into your dog’s individual willingness and initiative. Progress is made through direct one-on-one interaction between you and your dog as you learn to build a relationship not only of compliance, but of friendship and trust.

Behavior Modification

Some dogs need a little extra help

Many dog owners attempting to retrain or curb undesirable behaviors often find their efforts either in vain or ultimately worsening the problem. This leads not only to frustration in the owner, but to confusion and unhappiness in their beloved pet. Either way, the relationship between dog and owner unfortunately ends up compromised. From excessive barking to urinating in the house to pulling while on a leash, we can help you target these behaviors and teach you to correct them.

Family Integration

Smoothly adapt and adjust to living with your dog

Whether you have recently made the decision to bring a dog into your home and are wondering how to make a positive and effective environment for transition, or you have a dog who is an established family member and you would like to improve upon your current living situation, we are here to guide you in the right direction.

We firmly believe that your dog is an integral member of the family and should be treated like one. However, dogs are psychologically very different from humans and many well-intentioned families wishing to treat their dogs as children run the risk of instilling poor habits and inconsistent behavior. Our training methodology will teach you how to interact with your dog in terms they understand, enabling you to love and interact with your pet on a level that was never before possible.

Field Collar Training

Free your dog

Dogs and owners who have successfully completed our obedience course are eligible to continue with off-leash training. Once verbal compliance has been achieved between you and your dog, a field collar (also known as an e-collar) can be seamlessly integrated, giving your best friend the ability to exercise the way dogs are truly meant to.

Puppy Workshops

start off on the right foot

While our formal obedience training does not start until dogs reach a minimum six months of age, your puppy goes through a critical phase of development long before then. With the main focus on play and socialization, our small-group puppy workshops are a fun environment for your puppy to enjoy while allowing you a chance to have all your questions answered.

All-At-Home Program

the hands-on approach

We’ll come to your house for lessons and the whole family can be involved. Lessons are spaced one to two weeks apart to allow you necessary time to practice in between.

This program takes approximately 2.5 months in total and typically consists of five 1.5-hour lessons. Loose-leash walking and off-leash training can be achieved with additional lessons once obedience has been completed.

Cost:

$150 per 1.5-hour in-home lesson

If the entire time allotment is not used, the lesson cost is prorated. (Example: a 1-hour lesson will cost $100)

Home & Away Program

The Best of both worlds

Lessons at your home will lay the groundwork and involve you and your family in the process from day one. Your dog will then join us for a stay in board-and-train. They’ll return home fully trained and ready for you to adopt our obedience program into your household.

This program takes approximately 6 weeks and typically consists of two 1.5-hour in-home lessons followed by an 18-day board-and-train program.

Off-leash training and loose-leash walking are both included in this program.

Cost:

$150 per 1.5-hour at-home lesson
$150 per day of boarding

The necessary return-home lesson(s) are included in the cost of boarding.

Board & Train Program

Let us borrow them for a bit

Off-leash training and loose-leash walking are both included in this program.

Cost:

$150 per day of boarding
